Security Through Awareness

Most of us know we should be taking internet security more seriously, however how many of us really do? I don't even need to take off my shoes to count the number of people I know that do. With a little bit of time and a little bit of concern, this can just be the way you approach the net.

If your SysAdminFu is strong enough to run your systems with the level of security of the rudimentary lock pictured at the left, my hats off to you. For the rest of us I hope that by sharing the tactics and sources of information I use on a daily basis, I can help motivate at least one person to bridge that gap between "knowing" how important this is and acting.
